About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Unit. You will play an important role in driving the technical execution of data infrastructure and analytics solutions to empower data-driven decisions across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data architecture supports the company's strategic initiatives and business goals.

What are you going to do?

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Build and manage data integration processes and ETL workflows.
  • Create data models and structured data solutions to maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Implement data quality and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on data engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

What do we expect from you?

Must have

  • Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Good communication skills, coupled with a desire to learn and collaborate with others.
  • Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, or others).
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
  • Proven work experience (at least 4 years) in data engineering or back-end software engineering position.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or IT.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to understand one of the Baltic languages.

Nice to have

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and their data services.
  • Previous work experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience collaborating across functions within an international context.

  • Monthly salary: €4600-5300 gross depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, there is an annual bonus.
